Class Field Trips, Birthday Parties, and Scout Groups
The Mud Hut and its instructors may be reserved for school field trips, Scout groups and private parties such as birthdays. Bring the birthday cake here!
We offer a two-hour beginning ceramics experience (tile glazing or simple hand-building projects like animal sculptures and vessels) for up to 30 people. This exciting, hassle-free event can be combined with a visit to the Imaginarium hands-on science museum next door (school groups only).
For Boy and Girl Scouts, instructor Chic Lotz is an approved instructor to meet Ceramics Merit Badge requirements.
Cost: First 10 people = $150, then $6 per person up to 30. The cost includes all materials. Projects will be kiln fired and returned to the group. Projects may be customized to fit a theme party or classroom curriculum. Available times are limited, so reserve far in advance.
